Serve at Edgewater Senior Care Center
If you have a heart for serving senior citizens, you'll love serving with us at Edgewater. Twice monthly, on the 2nd and 4th Sunday
of the month at 2:00 pm, our volunteers go and prepare a church service for the seniors at this facility. We need people who care about seniors, are willing to help serve communion and more. Join Trina and the team! 2625 E 4th St., LB 90814. All are welcome.
Esther's Heart Serves at Lydia House
Ladies, we serve at Lydia House every 3rd Saturday of the month from 5–6:00 pm. Lydia House is the LB Rescue Mission’s housing for homeless women, and moms & their children. We bring Worship and Bible Study, as well as fun for the kids. Meet us there at 5:00 pm:

Serve at the LB Rescue Mission’s Samaritan House
Join the crew serving at the Samaritan House every 4th Saturday
of the month, starting at 5:00 pm. Volunteers meet at the
LB Rescue Mission to prepare and serve dinner to the homeless of our community. Service lasts until about 7:00 pm. Contact Lynne Bostwick for more details. 1335 Pacific Ave, LB 90813. All are welcome.

Ladies of The River Church meet once every few months to get together for fun, fellowship and outreach. Check the calendar for details, or contact the office.
Prayer Shawl Ministry
Knitters and crocheters of all levels get together to make shawls, scarves and hats for those in need. It is also a powerful time of prayer. Check the calendar for upcoming dates.
REACHING ~
Home Groups
Home Groups are an integral part of The River, and encourage you to go deeper in the Word and in fellowship during the week. Our casual, “book club” style is easy to jump into, and there’s no book required, just your Bible and notes from Sunday’s teaching! Contact the office for a list of ongoing home groups.
Solomon’s Porch
Our Sunday morning Bible study for High School & College aged students is going great! Check it out on the church office during the regular service.
